Our site consists of paintings submitted by artists across the country. These artists come from a variety of backgrounds, but are grouped together by their passion for painting.
We will be highlighting our most active artists to give you a better understanding of who’s creating your art, and to give additional thanks.
Our current Featured Artist is Keith Grove from Minnesota.
Keith Grove has had a lifelong interest in wildlife and promoted this interest as a specialty throughout his 25-year career as an award-winning commercial illustrator.
In 1996 he turned exclusively to painting wildlife and nature landscapes and has traveled throughout the United States photographing wildlife and scenery to use as reference for his paintings. Working in alkyd oils and realistic style, Keith tries to “tell a story” by capturing unique, cameo moments of wilderness life. He has had several one-man shows and he has participated in numerous juried shows throughout Minnesota. Prints of his work have sold nationally through Sportsman’s Guide magazine.
In 2006 his painting “First Snow” was entered in the Timber Wolf Alliance poster competition and it was awarded first place. 50,000 copies were distributed across the country. Donated giclee prints which were produced by the artist on his large format printer were used on products and for fund raising by the Bonobo Conservation Initiative in Washington D.C.
A graduate of the College of Associate Arts, St. Paul, Minnesota Keith also studied at Atelier Lack School of Classical Realism, Minneapolis, Minnesota. After the computer revolution Keith found it necessary to add computer graphics to his portfolio as well as the large format printing techniques.
